There are so many benefits in enjoying the outdoors. Sunlight helps your skin produce vitamin D, which plays a major role in bone health, immune function, and mood regulation. Just 10–30 minutes of sunlight a few times a week can make a big difference.
Time outdoors—especially in green spaces—reduces cortisol (the stress hormone) and boosts serotonin and endorphins. Translation: more calm, less anxiety, and a better mood. It’s nature’s antidepressant.
